Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd manufacture a diverse range of Viton Sponge products. Viton® sponge is generally black in colour and is provided with a skin finish on both sides.
It is manufactured in sheets at pre-determined thicknesses; however, Advanced Seals and Gaskets Ltd have the ability to split the, reducing the thickness to that which is more suitable for the customer's requirements.

All of the above can be manufactured in either plain or self-adhesive backed, peel-able liner on one or both sides. Viton® sponge has a closed cell formulation and with the skin finish on both sides, this makes the material extremely strong and tear resistant. The soft and flexible nature of this product along with the closed cell structure makes this material particularly efficient when sealing against liquid and gases. Because of the materials excellent properties, it can be found in some of the most demanding industries, such as Petrochemical, Energy, Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Automotive, Electronics, etc.
Key Characteristics of Viton Sponge Rubber:
- Highly compressible
- Resistant to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons
- Resistant to oils, fuels, ozone, acids, lubricants and animal/vegetable oils
- Good thermal and chemical resistance
- Working temperature of -25c to +200c
