    What is Solid Silicone Rubber?

Silicone (SI) rubber is an excellent material choice for converting into high performance mechanical seals and gaskets which can operate at high and low temperatures.   Silicone rubber even performs well when used outdoors and exposed to UV, weathering, ozone and moisture. So

Solid silicone rubber is manufactured in roll form in a range of grades each with its own set of excellent characteristics and properties, multiple hardnesses and colours, all of which can be easily converted using one of our specialist conversion machines.

Silicone rubber can not only be converted and supplied as finished usable parts, but is often also taken in roll form giving customers the flexibility to cut them into  their own parts as and when they are required.   such as washers, pads, strips, etc.

    Why use Silicone Rubber?

Silicone rubber is manufactured in a choice of grades, colours and thicknesses, each offering customers its own set of excellent characteristics and features.  Silicone rubber has a broad working temperature range for use in hot and cold environments, with high temperature versions also available for extreme heat.

Solid silicone rubber is resistant to ozone, many chemicals and fungal growth, they also offer excellent tensile strength, tear resistance, electrical insulating properties and are available in food safe and flame-retardant grades too.

Solid silicone rubber is manufactured in roll form, which means whether customers have a large surface to cover or only require very small seals or washers - they have a choice of how to take their finished product.

    Different Grades of Silicone Rubber
