Stratocell Foam Pads

Here at Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd, we supply Stratocell foam in a selection of densities, grades and colours. Due to the product's versatile nature, Stratocell is used to manufacture a wide variety of products. Our Stratocell Form Pads are generally made as squares, rectangles or circles; however, our automated machinery can produce a range of shapes with thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 100mm. Our Stratocell Foam Pads can be manufactured plain, with self-adhesive backings, foils or films. This can be applied on one or both sides, and supplied as individual pieces or kiss-cut onto strips. 

Whether we manufacture as a one-off or in large quantities, we work closely with our customers throughout the manufacturing process to provide a completely bespoke service. Utilizing state-of-the-art machinery and techniques such as die cutting and punching, and CNC-cutting, we produce top quality products in house, meeting a wide range of customer specifications.

    What is Stratocell Foam?

    Stratocell Foam is high-quality, closed-cell polyethylene foam that is supplied as standard in 1200mm x 2000mm sheets with a thickness range of 1mm – 100mm.

    Closed cell foam is a rubber compound developed under gas pressure. It is this structure that gives Stratocell an exceptional strength to weight ratio making it a lower cost and more versatile alternative to many heavier Polyurethanes. Stratocell is used mainly as a packaging material inside corrugated boxes as it is extremely stable, resilient and designed to prevent damage.

    Why use Stratocell Foam Pads?

    Stratocell Form has many advantages, including being a very effective protective material at an affordable price. Polyethylene foam pads are often used to fill gaps or seal against water, air and dust. They are also used to cushion surfaces and fittings.

    Stratocell foam's non-abrasive, water-resistant and lightweight properties provide excellent protection and make it a truly versatile product. Stratocell foam pads are converted in-house. This enables us to completely control the pads' dimensions and even laminate multiple types of material to create unique versions.

    Due to the number of grades on offer, polyethylene foam pads such as Stratocell, can be found in most applications where weather-resistant, acoustic, thermal insulation and tight sealing is required

    Different Grades of Stratocell Foam Pads

    Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd works closely with a network of suppliers and manufacturers. This is to ensure we can offer a wide variety of products to meet very specific specifications. There are many grades of Stratocell available. They include: 

    • Standard: Stratocell Foam is supplied as standard in 1200mm x 2000mm sheets. We can convert this in house, into a variety of products to suit all our customers' needs. 
    • Stratocell Anti-Static: Upon request we can provide an anti-static option, ideal for use with electrical equipment. 
    • Stratocell RC: This is our recycled grade, available upon request. Stratocell RC contains a minimum of 50% recycled resin content.
    • Stratocell Plus: Stratocell Plus is designed for when you need a little extra protection. It includes a top layer of 3.5mm polyethylene film or 3.5mm high-density Cellu-Cushion foam.
