PVC Foam

PVC Foam

Advanced Seals & Gaskets are market leaders in supplying and converting high-quality non-metallic materials, including various grades of PVC foam. PVC is generally manufactured as continuous PVC foam rolls in a range of standard thicknesses which can then be split down using our state of the art splitting machines or cut down into PVC foam strips, PVC foam gaskets, PVC foam pads or PVC foam washers using one of our many bandsaws, log cutters or presses. As all our conversion is carried out on-site, our cut parts can be supplied coated with a choice of one of many foils or self-adhesives, and even laminated to other materials to produce composite materials.

What is PVC Foam?

PVC Foam (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a lightweight material, made up of PVC and Polyurea, available in a range of grades and colours, each with its own set of unique properties. PVC foam materials offer a number of desirable properties including sound or vibration dampening, sealing against air, dust and moisture and insulating applications.  PVC foam products can be converted in-house using rolls of foam, or taken by customers in roll or sheet form as it allows them the flexibility to cut down usable pads, gaskets, strips etc in any size as and when they are required and are also ideal for when larger pieces of materials are required to cover the greater surface area.

Why use PVC Foam?

There are many ways to utilise PVC foam as the material holds various desirable properties including sealing against dust, air, water, chemicals and outdoor elements such as wind, rain and sunlight,  along with thermal insulation, vibration and sound absorption.  We have many customers that require PVC foam products in industries such as automotive, construction, HVAC, heating, marine and electronics. These industries use PVC foam for boating seals, window installations, protection, door seals, dust and light seals.
