Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd supply a wide range of high-quality solid rubber sheeting, including a variety of rubber matting products such as fluted or ribbed matting sheets. Also referred to as floor matting, these sheets are available in different grades, each designed to meet specific commercial, industrial, and safety requirements.
One of our most popular options is Fine Fluted Rubber Matting (also called Narrow Ribbed or Ribbed Matting), available in Economy, Premium, and Electrical Safety grades. Typically manufactured in continuous rolls, these mats can also be supplied as pre-cut sheets or smaller pads for easier handling and installation.
Our in-house conversion and cutting services enable customers to take full rolls and cut them themselves or have them custom-cut into sheets or pads tailored to their specific needs.
What are Fluted Matting Sheets?
Fine ribbed or fluted rubber matting sheets feature a narrow ribbed (castellated) pattern that provides excellent non-slip performance. Lightweight yet heavy-duty, these mats are ideal for commercial and industrial use as floor coverings or workstation protection.
Fluted matting is manufactured in continuous rolls, with the ribbed pattern running the entire length of the material. It can be cut into sheets and sold per linear metre, making it a versatile solution for walkways, workstations, entrances, kennels, and general-purpose flooring applications.

The non-porous surface prevents liquid absorption and the growth, making it a hygienic choice for factories, warehouses, shop doorways, kennels, and dog runs.

Types of Matting Available
- Anti-fatigue matting: Cushioned, non-slip mats for workstations and production lines, reducing stress on muscles and joints.
