They are available in numerous grades, with Nylon washers being one of the most popular. Nylon plastics are widely used in the engineering and electrical manufacturing sectors. They are available in standard sheet sizes ranging from 250mm x 250mm to 2000mm x 1220mm, in thicknesses from 1mm to 100mm, and as extruded tubes, from which washers can be cut or pressed.
All washers are manufactured in-house using a combination of skilled craftsmanship and high-spec machinery, including CNC oscillating knives and presses for very thin washers. Our machinery allows us to manufacture Nylon washers to precise customer specifications, in any quantity, and supplied with a choice of self-adhesives or foils, ensuring high-quality products at competitive prices.

What are Nylon Washers?
A Nylon washer is a flat, ring-shaped component placed between two surfaces or joints to reduce friction, prevent unsteadiness, and create a level surface for nuts, bolts, or other fixings. Nylon washers can also provide water- or air-tight seals.
Washers are manufactured using samples, drawings, or customer-provided dimensions detailing Outer Diameter (OD), Inner Diameter (ID), and Thickness, and are supplied in plain or self-adhesive finishes. Nylon is a synthetic thermoplastic linear polyamide, commonly available in black or natural white. Nylon washers are widely used in engineering applications and can be cut from sheets or tubes to order.
Nylon plastics are available in extruded or cast grades, with cast variants being stronger, easier to machine, and capable of forming very thick profiles exceeding 100mm. Nylon can also be produced in specialised grades such as oil-filled, metal detectable, and flame-retardant.
Why use Nylon Washers?
Nylon washers offer high tensile strength, stiffness, and excellent mechanical properties. They provide moderate chemical resistance, are electrically insulating, and perform well under prolonged heat exposure. The high melting temperature makes Nylon a suitable substitute for metals in many high-temperature applications.
