Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd manufacture thousands of high-quality food-grade solid nitrile rubber strips, also known as gasket strips, sealing strips, or isolation strips. These strips are produced in-house by our skilled team using state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring every product meets customer specifications, drawings, or samples.
We create bespoke food-quality solid nitrile rubber strips using bandsaws, strippers, log cutters, and presses, depending on the required size and volume. In-house production allows us to maintain strict quality control and provide consistently high-quality, competitively priced strips.
Our solid nitrile rubber strips for food quality are cut from rolls produced in a variety of standard thicknesses, starting from 1mm. Strips can also be supplied with self-adhesive backing or laminated with other materials. They are available in widths from 4mm, provided in 10-meter continuous coils or pre-cut lengths.

Different Grades of Solid Nitrile Rubber
We offer a variety of nitrile rubber grades, tailored to different applications:
- Standard Solid Nitrile Rubber (NBR) – Synthetic rubber with good tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and protection against petrol, mineral oils, and vegetable oils. Suitable for fuel hoses, automotive seals, gaskets, and printing rollers, with a working range of -20°C to +70°C.
- BS 2751 Nitrile Rubber – Higher-quality elastomer with improved elongation, tensile strength, and temperature resistance (-30°C to +110°C), available in 40° to 80° shore hardness.
- Blue Metal Detectable Nitrile Rubber – Enhanced elastomer with a metal-detectable additive, providing tear and abrasion resistance for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications.
- Blue Food Quality (FDA) Nitrile Rubber – Compliant with EC and FDA regulations, resistant to animal fats, vegetable oils, fish oils, and greases. Blue colour is preferred in applications where white rubber may not be visible in the product.
