Fibre Jointing Gasket Paper may also be referred to as Oil Paper, Cellulose Gasket Paper along with trade names such as Flexoid.
Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd manufacture a diverse range of Fibre Jointing Gasket Paper products. This extremely diverse material is impregnated and is based on cellulose fibre paper that is highly compressed and heated with glue-glycerin that gives it both strength and flexibility.
Gasket paper is generally brown in colour due to the tanning process and is manufactured in continuous rolls 1 m wide and up to 160mtrs in length depending upon the thickness. All of the above can be manufactured either plain or self-adhesive backed, peel-able liner on one or both sides. Gasket Paper material is most diverse and has many excellent properties, as such it endears itself to many industries especially automotive, marine, aerospace, and defence. Its uses are wide and varied but it is ideally suited for such applications as water pumps, fuel pumps, carburettors, axles, tanks etc.
