PVC Foam

PVC Foam Gasket

Advanced Seals & Gaskets are market leaders in producing high-quality gaskets as we have some of the latest manufacturing technology and facilities.  We are able to work closely with our customers to produce the gaskets to match the required specifications, drawings or samples.  Producing the gaskets using our own facilities ensures that our high standards are maintained, in turn producing high-quality gaskets consistently. PVC Foam gaskets are produced using drawings provided by our customers, with whom we work closely to ensure the final product is to their exact specification, from a simple rectangular picture frame gasket to a more complex shape with cut-outs, notches or bolt holes – we can offer a solution. Whether it’s a one-off sample or a multi-thousand run, we have a machine to quickly and accurately produce perfectly formed gaskets in a range of sizes, these include a number of presses, CNC and kiss-cut machines. Our gaskets can be produced plain or with a choice of finishes including foils, self-adhesives or laminated to other materials, depending on the size and quantity of the gasket, they can be supplied as loosely packed parts or kiss-cut on rolls.

What are PVC Foam Gaskets?

PVC Foam (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a lightweight material, available in a range of grades and colours, each with its own set of unique properties and can be converted into a range of products including gaskets. A gasket can take the form of a strip or pad but are generally an intricately cut shaped piece of material placed between two surfaces to fill gaps and to create a low-pressure seal preventing the leakage of liquids or gas and to seal against the intrusion of dust and debris when under compression. ASG stock a range of PVC foams in a number of thicknesses ensuring gaskets can be produced within a minimum timeframe and manufactured with a range of finishes including foils, self-adhesives or laminated with other materials.

Why use PVC Foam Gaskets?

There are many ways to utilize PVC foam gaskets as the material holds various desirable properties such as creating a tight seal against dust, air, water, chemicals and outdoor elements such as wind, rain and sunlight,  along with thermal insulation and vibration and sound absorption. We have many customers that require PVC foam gaskets in such industries as automotive, construction, HVAC, heating, marine and electronics. These industries use PVC foam gaskets for boating seals, window installations, protection, door seals, dust and light seals.
