One such material is Metal Detectable Silicone rubber, which is manufactured in continuous rolls of various lengths at 1.2meters wide, in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 10mm from which metal detectable silicone strips can be cut.
Metal Detectable Silicone rubber strips are one of 1000’s products we are able to produce in-house, which are all made to order, manufactured using one of our many machines including bandsaws, strippers, log cutters and even presses depending on the size and quantity required.
For very small strips in high quantities, a kiss-cut option may also be available for a quicker turnaround and ease of use.
What are Metal Detectable Silicone Rubber Strips?
Metal detectable silicone rubber is a blue coloured, FDA approved, high-quality material, which, unlike other food-safe rubber, contains additives that are visible to metal detector scanning equipment, enabling users to easily identify and remove any unwanted fragments or contamination in the food, drinks and pharmaceutical production process can be easily identified and isolated.
Metal detectable silicone strips are pieces of metal detectable silicone rubber material, cut to a specific width, in pre-cut lengths or continuous coils as requested by our customers, often used in a similar way to a gasket placed between two surfaces to create a seal, provide cushioning, anti-vibration or insulation.
