Synthetic Bonded Cork is an excellent material choice for automotive /industrial gaskets and also suitable for vibration control. It is suitable for low and medium bolt pressure and offers good flexibility, resilience and oil/fuel resistance.
Synthetic Bonded Cork is very good when used under compression to create seals between two mating surfaces and often used in transformers and switchgear and within the automobile and electrical industries.
Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd have the ability to manufacture gaskets in any shape or size to meet our customers' specifications, using given measurements, samples or drawings. Using state of the art machinery and gasket production techniques such as die cutting/punch, CNC-cutting and waterjet, Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd have the ability to manufacture gaskets as a one-off or in large quantities.
Standard Thicknesses range from 1mm to 6mm.
Synthetic Bonded Cork gaskets can be manufactured plain or with a choice self-adhesive backings, foils and films on one or both sides, and supplied as individual pieces or kiss-cut onto strips.
