Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd manufacture a diverse range of Commercial Rubber products.  Commercial rubber  is a synthetic material that is manufactured from a blend of natural and Styrene-Butadiene rubber (NR/SBR), is is a standard, none specific Solid Rubber suitable for general applications.

Commercial Rubber is available in variants of shore hardness and thickness in either plate finish (smooth), cloth finish (rough), insertion or textured finish.   Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd are able to manufacture a wide variety  of products from Commercial Rubber including:

All of the above can be manufactured in either plain or self-adhesive backed, peel-able liner on one both sides.  Most Solid Commercial Rubber sheeting comes in a standard width of 1.4m with roll lengths up to 10m (dependent on thickness) and used for general purpose applications such as gaskets, scrapers, seals and sleeve.

Key Characteristics of Commercial Rubber:

  • Shore Hardness: 65° ± 5° (1mm – 25mm) / 70° ± 5° (30, 40 & 50mm).
  • Temperature: -30°C up to +70°C.
  • General purpose rubber sheeting.
  • Offers good resistance to abrasion.

Solid Commercial Rubber is NOT suitable for applications involving

  • Chemicals
  • Fuels
  • Acids
  • Aromatic hydrocarbons
  • Water supply
  • Potable water
