Our onsite facilities boast state-of-the-art conversion machinery, encompassing a variety of presses, CNC machines, slitting machines, and log cutters. This cutting-edge equipment empowers us to supply food-quality silicone sponge rubber in various forms, such as complete rolls, sheets, or precisely cut components like strips, pads, washers, and gaskets. These versatile parts find applications across a wide spectrum of industries.

Additionally, we offer the option to cover these silicone sponge rubber products with a selection of our numerous foils or self-adhesive tapes, further enhancing their utility and adaptability.

What is Flame Retardant Neoprene Sponge?

Flame retardant neoprene, also known as polychloroprene or CR, is a key material in our extensive catalog. This versatile, gray, closed-cell material serves as the foundation for several of our products.

It not only possesses the typical qualities of standard neoprene, including excellent weathering, oil resistance, and chemical resistance but also boasts the critical feature of being a flame-resistant barrier. It successfully meets flammability tests such as FMVSS302 and UL94-HF1, making it ideal for applications where fire risk is a concern.

    Different Types Available

Advanced Seals & Gaskets work with a number of material manufacturers, meaning our customers benefit from a choice of neoprene grades:

Neoprene sponge rubber is a versatile material, featuring good resilience and resistance to UV and ozone.  It has a working temperature range of -40ºc to +115ºc, good chemical stability, and good general resistance to oils and petroleum-based fuels.

Firm Grade Neoprene sponge gaskets are also closed-cell, fire resistance tested to FMVSS 302, and has a density of 180kg (+/- 25), meaning they can be used in more heavy-duty applications, where less compression is needed to create a tight seal.

EPDM/Neoprene Blend sponge is an extremely versatile material, combining the properties of both types of sponge, excellent weathering and outdoor resistance of EPDM and the oil/chemical resistance of neoprene, making it the ideal choice for many outdoor sealing applications.
