Here at Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd stock an extensive range of high quality solid silicone rubber sheets of material in a choice of grades and colours, one of which is our Platinum Cured Silicone Sheets.
Platinum Cured Silicone Rubber is manufactured as continuous rolls of material usually in widths of 1.2 or 1.4meters and roll lengths of 5 meters or 10 meters depending on the material thickness which ranges from 0.5mm to 2mm, but as these can be cut down into 1 or 2-meter lengths and supplied as a sheet where a smaller amount of material is needed. For thicknesses that aren't manufactured as standard, Platinum Cured Silicone Sheets can also be extruded therefore allowing us to offer bespoke thicknesses to order.
Our site consists of state of the conversion machinery and a highly skilled workforce which allows us to not only supply bespoke sheet sizes, but using one of many slitters, log cutters, presses, bandsaws or the oscillating knife, we can also convert this raw material into a number of products including sheets or finished products such as washers, pads, strips or gaskets.

What are Platinum Cured Silicone Sheets?
Platinum Cured Silicone Sheets are usually cut from full rolls, but can also be extruded to order if a bespoke thickness or finish is needed available in a choice of 1.2 and 1.4m widths and in lengths of 1 or 2 meters.
Unlike many traditional Peroxide cured materials and rubber products, during the formulation of Platinum Cured Silicone, peroxides aren't used as part of the catalysing process. When using peroxides, traces can often remain in the raw material causing contamination and so silicone manufactured using Platinum Cured materials and the components cut from these sheets are a more popular choice in industries including medical, food, drink or dairy applications as it is considered a cleaner/purer product.
Platinum-cured silicone rubber sheets are also translucent in colour and appearance - again perfect for the food and drink industries where visibility is crucial, it is also non-toxic and non-yellowing.
