Polyurethane Foam Rolls

ASG offers a wide range of polyurethane products including rolls in solid and foam material types, in various densities, thicknesses and colours. Our polyurethane foam rolls are produced in-house and are converted from blocks using our state of the art splitting machines, meaning we can supply polyurethane foam rolls in thicknesses starting at as little as just 1.5mm, in roll lengths to suit your needs and requirements. Our onsite conversion service not only allows us to produce polyurethane foam rolls in a range of lengths and thicknesses upon request but also enables us to supply them with a range of self-adhesives, foils and even laminated to other materials.

What are Polyurethane Foam Rolls?

Polyurethane foam is one of the members of the polymer family, it is a low-density foam from which is often used in a number of vibration dampening, sealing and insulating applications. PU foam rolls are converted in-house using blocks of foam, which are joined together and then fed through our splitting machines to create rolls at a desired thickness and length. Polyurethane is often taken by customers in roll form as it allows them the flexibility to cut down into pads, strips, gaskets, washers or sheets of any size as and when they are required and are also ideal for when larger pieces of materials are required to cover greater surface areas.

Why use Polyurethane Foam Rolls?

Polyurethane foam rolls are available in a range of colours, thicknesses and densities, most of which are suitable for acoustic and thermal conductive applications. Polyurethane foams offer good sealing properties against air and dust and are resistant to UV and ozone. Polyurethane foam can also be produced using specialist grades which include conductive, static dissipative and flame-retardant.

Available Grades

Advanced Seals & Gaskets work with a number of material manufacturers, giving our customers more choice when looking for polyurethane foam rolls, our most popular types being:

  • Acoustic
  • egg box
  • HLB
  • Basotech
  • Polyester
  • Recon
  • Retic
  • Polyether

Benefits of Using Polyurethane Foam

Polyurethane foams are available in a wide variety, allowing us to supply rolls of material for use within various applications and industries.  Polyurethane foam performs well across a wide temperature range, has resistance to compression and chemicals, offers good vibration and impact absorption and can be manufactured with extra additives to create specialist grades which include conductive, static dissipative and flame-retardant. Some of the popular uses for polyurethane foam include heating & ventilation, automotive, dust sealing and building & construction applications.
